Tying a Square Scarf

Personally, I find square scarves a little intimidating, as I've been quite comfortable wearing oblong scarves for a long time.  So, I did a little research and found that its actually quite simple to mix it up with a square scarf as well.

For all of our product shoots, we did a basic triangle drape in front - i.e., you take the square, fold it in half to make a triangle, drape the triangle in front, and tie the ends in back.

Here's that example on Celestial Solstice I from the Winter Gems Collection:

Well, since our square scarves are large - 48" square, you can do this same simple tie and just turn it around to get a very different look:

You can also turn it 90 degrees in either direction so that the long part of the triangle is on your shoulder and down either the left or right side of your body, making this simple tie perfect for 4 different looks.

So, now I plan on incorporating square scarves into my daily fashion look.  I hope that you will too.
